Building a Better Environment PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT CSR IS. SAM

Mr. Kulaseth Hovongratana (sixth from left), PR Manager of Kasemkij Co. Ltd, and head of the Cape Collection Group, together with his PR Team; Mr. Atiroj Chotpornsawat (third from left), Ms. Pilaiporn Ruangnok (third from right) and Ms. Kusuma Pholthampalit, recently brought together more than 20 members of the media to join in a mangrove reforestation activity at the Nature Education and Mangrove Conservation Centre, Chonburi.

This was part of their continuing CSR Project, ‘Building a Better Environment’. The Cape Collection focuses on the rehabilitation and restoration of natural resources in Thailand. This activity is consistent with the Cape Collection’s policy-oriented activities (CSR) in the conservation of natural resources and to generate sustainable benefits for Nature.

Cape Panwa welcomed Swiss Ambassadors

From November 26 to 29, 2009, Mr. Claude Sauter, General Manager of the Cape Panwa Hotel & Spa, Phuket recently welcomed H.E. Mrs. Christine Schraner Burgener, Ambassador of Switzerland to the Kingdom of Thailand for the tenth anniversary party of the Swiss Society Phuket at the hotel. Miss Belgium 2010 Finalists

From November 16 to the 23, 2009, twenty Miss Belgium 2010 contestants stayed at the Cape Panwa Hotel, Phuket and took part in photo and video shoots as well as kayaking around the island and Thai cooking classes.

The beauty pageant finalists are in Phuket by invitation of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). The purpose of inviting the Miss Belgium contestants was to promote tourism in the region and encourage more Belgian tourists to visit Thailand and Phuket.


The newest Kantary property, Kantary Hotel and Serviced Apartments, Kabinburi will open on November fifteenth, 2009.

Kabinburi is famous for its natural beauty, Khmer ruins and ‘Phimai’ traditional boat races, many companies have chosen to base out of this attractive town because of its advantageous location.

Cape Panwa's New Suite rooms will be available for booking from November 15, 2009

All 12 Suites have a spectacular view over the Andaman sea. Each suite measure 80 square meters and comes with a separate lounge area. There is also outside Balcony with large, comfortable sun-bed or personal Whirlpool for relaxation.


Aki Matsuri Festival

Sharing here, a joyful time from our third “Exclusive Moment” activity, Aki Matsuri – the famous autumn festive in Japan. The festival was held at Cape Racha on September twenty sixth and more than 200 Japanese guests from our hotel groups, Cape, Kantary and Kameo showed up, many worn their traditional colorful custom. The guests enjoyed the shows, games, food and drinks we provided…and we all said “Bunsai..!!”
